A Kremlin spokesman said the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia have signed a deal on complete stoppage of combat actions over the Nagorno-Karabakh region, Russian agencies reported on Tuesday.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan earlier said he had signed an agreement with leaders of Russia and Azerbaijan to end the war on Tuesday. He described the deal as a “painful” one and said that he would address the nation “in upcoming days”.

Azerbaijan has yet to confirm the deal.
