It’s going to be a long way back to the top for Arsenal.

Long gone are the days of Arsene Wenger’s Invincibles and a free-scoring Thierry Henry, but the French goalscorer has this week seen one of his numerous incredible records broken.

It comes as the Gunners struggle with contract problems with some of their current big stars as they face the prospect of history repeating itself and their ‘curse’ continuing.

Arsenal fans will be lucky to ever see a footballer as talented as Thierry Henry grace their club again.

The Frenchman netted 360 goals in senior club football with 228 coming across his two stints with the Gunners.

But despite his heroics in an Arsenal shirt, and enviable career with the likes of Juventus, Barcelona and New York Red Bulls as well, one of his incredible goalscoring record has just been broken – but not by a Gunners player.
