Vlahovic ‘price drop’

Reports in Italy claim that the asking price of striking sensation Dusan Vlahovic is set to drop next summer.

Corriere della Sera outline that the Serbian could be available for just €40million (£33.9m).

Arsenal have been linked with Vlahovic as a long-term replacement for Alexandre Lacazette, having scored 13 goals in 14 games for Fiorentina this season.

However, the Gunners are set to face heavy competition from Juventus for the 21-year-old.

Pepe sale considered

Despite Arteta’s recent comments that wide man Nicolas Pepe is still in his plans, The Sun report that Arsenal remain unconvinced about the Ivorian.

With Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka shining out wide, the Gunners could be willing to cash in on Pepe, who they signed for a club-record £80 million in 2019.

Now 26, the ex-Lille man may need a change of scenery to reignite his career.

Wonderkid bid launched

Arsenal have supposedly made an official offer for Romanian wonderkid Ianis Stoica.

The 18-year-old currently plays for FCSB in his homeland and the club’s owner, Gigi Becali, has seemingly confirmed that the Gunners have made a bid.

Becalm told “I currently have [an offer of] €7.5million for Ianis Stoica.

“And I want €10m plus 20% [from a future transfer],” he said before confirming that the bid came from the Emirates.

Stoica, also linked with Bologna and Galatasaray, has six goals and two assists for FCSB this season which sees him average a direct goal contribution every 73 minutes.
