Benjamin Netanyahu asked to try and form Israel’s next government


Israeli president Reuven Rivlin has nominated the country’s prime ministerBenjamin Netanyahu to try and form a coalition government.

Netanyahu, the country’s Israel’s longest-serving leader, will now have 28 days to break the country’s political impasse and form a governing coalition.
