China cuts key interest rate cut as July retail sales, industrial output fall short of estimates

China’s growth in industrial production, retail sales and fixed-asset investment all retreated a bit in July from the previous month, and the People’s Bank of China cut a policy interest rate by 10 basis points, data released on Monday shows.
