Companies that pivoted during Covid-19 keep their pandemic-born business models

SINGAPORE – Local bespoke tailor Meiko Tailor temporarily switched from making customised suits to making and distributing face masks to cabbies delivering food at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.

What started out as a way to boost staff morale during times of heightened restrictions, which led to falling sales, became a complimentary add-on to customers’ orders for clothing items like wedding suits.
