The alumni of Convent Bukit Nanas can now breathe easy because the lease has been extended by 60 years.

PETALING JAYA: The land lease of the 122-year-old Convent Bukit Nanas has been extended for 60 years, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has announced.

The lease had been set to expire on Sept 6.

In a statement, the PMO said it made the decision after taking into account the importance of the school’s contributions to the nation’s education sector since 1889.
