Foreign airlines get approval to fly transit passengers to Changi Airport


SINGAPORE – Several more airlines have received approval from the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) to stopover at Changi Airport with passengers enroute to other destinations.

At least three airlines – German carrier Lufthansa, Swiss International Airlines and Garuda Indonesia – have resumed ferrying transit passengers this month, based on checks by The Straits Times.
