Diogo Jota says he’s “bitter” at not being able to experience the atmosphere at Anfield because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Football fans have been banned from attending stadiums since March in the UK.

Jota, who joined Liverpool in a £45million transfer from Wolves in the summer window, has yet to play in front of his new fans.

And the Portuguese says he’s saddened that this is the case – and is looking forward to experiencing the “special” feeling in the future.

“When I first signed at Anfield, I was asked what my feeling was and I said for it to be perfect, I had to play in a full stadium to have that even more special feeling,” Jota explained.
