NEW DELHI – An unfolding political crisis in Nepal is not only shaking up the nation, but could also fuel a reshaping of its relations with its two giant neighbours – India and China.

Nepal’s Prime Minister, Mr K.P. Sharma Oli, fearing a no-confidence motion, has recommended the dissolution of Parliament two years beforeĀ its five-year term ends, setting off a fresh bout of political instability. The move was approved by President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Dec 20.
