TAIPEI (The China Post) — After 10 months of silence, Taiwanese singer Show Luo (羅志祥) announced on Tuesday the exact time of his comeback in the entertainment industry.
The 41-year-old singer said on Instagram that his new YouTube channel will release the first video on Saturday evening, and asked fans to subscribe first.
When Luo also opened up for questions, however, someone asked: “Can’t you find your channel.”
Luo replied: “You have to go to YouTube to look for it. When you look for it, you may see negative news about me from last year.”
“Ah, swipe the news away! ” he wrote.
Luo broke up with his ex-girlfriend Grace Chow (周揚青) in April last year, and the history of his sex life was completely exposed, which led to the collapse of his image and the complete suspension of his career.
He was only recently active in social media again.
At the end of last year, Luo accepted an exclusive interview with fashion magazines and talked about five major controversies about himself.
The move was interpreted as an attempt to return to the spotlight to test the market reactions.
Unexpectedly, negative news such as the illegal building of roof-top swimming pool and theft of assistant’s social media account broke out, adding more hurdles to his comeback.
However, Luo has recently made a great reconciliation with Sun Te-jung (孫德榮) and confirmed that a new album will be released this year.
