Taxi driver arrested after crashing into PLA garrison in Hong Kong




A taxi driver has been arrested after he slammed his vehicle into the entrance gate of the People’s Liberation Army’s Hong Kong garrison in Central.The man, 53, was heading west on Lung Wo Road at about 6.20pm on Saturday when he drove through the base’s metal gate, which was open at the time, and then crashed into the boom barrier, leaving it damaged.No one was injured, but the driver was reportedly taken into the barracks for questioning.
