Teacher resigns after accidentally broadcasting porn onto a classroom screen

A Hong Kong school principal has confirmed to Coconuts that rumors about one of their teachers accidentally broadcasting the porn he was watching onto a screen in his classroom are true and that he has already left the school after the incident.

Rumors about the teacher’s misconduct began with a post on the Instagram account nss.secrets, which posts anonymous submissions about happenings in schools around the city. A post, allegedly written by a student at an all-girls school in Sau Mau Ping in Eastern Kowloon, claimed that a male teacher had been watching foursome adult videos in class.

“A student noticed he even had an erection and had to use a book to cover his bottom area,” wrote the poster.

The Instagram post, submitted last Saturday, added that the teacher had tried to silence the students in his class, saying this would affect the school’s reputation.

The submitter noted that it was not even the first time the teacher had been seen watching adult movies in the classroom.

“Since he is so addicted to sex that he can’t help but watch porn during classes, and even had an erection, what will happen next time,” asked the poster.

She said it was worrying to have such a teacher in the all-girls school, and slammed the school for covering up the matter and not handling it seriously.

In another submission posted to the same account on Monday, it was claimed that the teacher had accidentally broadcast the adult video he was watching onto a screen in the classroom during a dictation exercise.

The person who submitted the post said that it took the teacher five minutes to realize that he was sharing his screen for all of his students to see.

Another submission, posted on Thursday by another student who claimed to be from the school, said the teacher had tendered his resignation and that the school had arranged counseling sessions for the students.

Tabloid news reports indicated that the incident had happened at Leung Shek Chee College, a top Catholic school in Sau Mau Ping that is subsidized by the government.

Eva Chau, the school’s principal confirmed to Coconuts that the incident had indeed occurred and that the teacher was no longer an employee of the school. She also confirmed that counseling has been arranged for the affected students.

Coconuts has also reached out to the Education Bureau for comments.
