TAIPEI (The China Post) — Chinese entrepreneur Wang Xiaofei (汪小菲) on Sunday shared some photos and thoughts about being separated from his family during his hotel quarantine upon returning to Taiwan.
Wang, 39, has been living in China since July last year while his wife, Barbie Hsu (徐熙媛), and his two children remained in Taiwan.
In preparation for the upcoming Chinese New Year, Wang flew to Taiwan where he is undergoing a 15-day quarantine at his own hotel, S HOTEL in Taipei, waiting to be reunited with his loved ones.

In the photo he shared on Weibo, his 6-year-old daughter Wang Hsi-Yueh (汪希玥), accompanied by her aunt, visited Wang Xiaofei and waved to her father from across the street.
He wrote: “Yesterday Hsi-yueh’s aunt brought her to see me downstairs. We waved all the time. We could only see but not holding each other. There’s ten days left and my son is in class now.”
On Jan. 20, the day he started the quarantine, Wang posted the meals specially prepared by the S HOTEL staff.

In the photo posted to Weibo, a staff member wrote on a glass mirror with a marker to say: “Chairman Wang, welcome home. We will accompany you for 15 days.”
Wang Xiaofei was moved by the encouraging words and said: “In our own hotel, it was too warm to see the messages from colleagues.”
In 2010, Hsu married Chinese entrepreneur Wang Xiaofei (汪小菲) in a civil ceremony in Beijing. They have two children: a daughter, Wang Hsi-yueh, and a son, Wang Hsi-lin (汪希箖).
