World leaders gather in Bali for fraught G20 summit overshadowed by Ukraine war


[DENPASAR, BALI] Leaders from the Group of 20 (G20) – a group of the world’s major developed and emerging economies that make up over 80 per cent of global gross domestic product and 75 per cent of total trade – are gathering on the Indonesian resort island of Bali on Tuesday (Nov 15) and Wednesday for a summit overshadowed by geopolitical tensions and a looming economic recession.
