Man killed after making ‘big breasts’ remark

A man has been stabbed to death, with reports that a brawl was sparked when he made a comment about a woman’s breasts.

The incident took place in the city of Melaka, Malaysia on May 9.

The victim, a 35-year-old manager of a scrap metal dealership, was allegedly drunk and made a comment about a woman’s breasts as she entered a stall in Taman Kenanga, Tengkera.

The 26-year-old woman had entered the stall about 4am to have a meal with her boyfriend and bodyguard.

When he saw the woman, he reportedly said: “This woman has big hips and big breasts”.

The bodyguard heard the comment and confronted the man, and the incident escalated.

“This was when a fierce fistfight sparked between the bodyguard that was later joined by the woman’s 36-year-old boyfriend,” Melaka Tengah OCPD Asst Comm Christopher Patit said, The Star reports.

“The deceased was allegedly stabbed several times with a sharp object.”

The victim was found unconscious at the scene by authorities and was rushed to Melaka Hospital for treatment, but later died. A post-mortem found he died from a stab wound to the heart.

The victim’s friends also joined in the brawl, police said.

The woman’s Chinese boyfriend — who is married and has three children — manages an online gambling scheme and also operates foreign money exchange outlets in Johor, the outlet reported.

The businessman reportedly has a Datuk Seri title and is “someone well-known in the streets”, with a wide network of connections and has previously helped organise charitable events.

Police arrested eight men and one woman, aged between 25 and 38 under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder and two weapons were confiscated.
