PETALING JAYA: Police are investigating the case of a nurse who was found unconscious by the roadside near Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan, last night.

She is believed to have suffered a blow to the head when found at Jalan Simpang Tiga Dangi, Johol.

Kuala Pilah deputy police chief Syahrul Anuar Abdul Wahab said the shoes of the victim, in her 30s, were found outside her car which had the engine still running at around 10pm, Harian Metro reported.

“Members of the public had found her unconscious and believed she had been robbed.

“The victim was brought to Tuanku Ampuan Najihah Hospital for further treatment,” he said.

Syahrul said the victim was believed to be on her way home from work at the hospital and was heading towards Dangi.

“We are still in the process of getting a statement from her.

“Based on her initial statement, she was not robbed but only hit on the head. None of her personal belongings were missing,” he said.

Syahrul said the case is being investigated under Section 324 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt with a dangerous weapon or means.
