TELUK INTAN, April 3 — A man attacked a security guard with an axe before fleeing with 70 iPhones from a shop at the Teluk Intan Leaning Tower complex here yesterday.

Hilir Perak district police chief ACP Ahmad Adnan Basri said in the 2am incident, the robber slashed the guard, leaving him with injuries on the head during a struggle.

The robber left the guard bound and locked in the toilet of the complex before using a grinder to break into the telecommunication shop.
